Primal Quest Director Don Mann noted, “The enthusiasm for PQ from around the world is overwhelming. As of this morning over 130 teams from eleven different countries have sent in applications. I believe this is unprecedented in the history of expedition level adventure racing.”
In addition to the slew of teams from all across the United States, applications were also received from Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Venezuela .
Christina Moon, Primal Quest Volunteer Coordinator, is also reporting a great showing of volunteer applicants from all over the world. “More than 180 individuals from fifteen different countries including Austria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Israel, Lithuania, Mexico, The Netherlands, Philippines, Romania, Russia Scotland as well as from all across the United States have offered their time and expertise to support Primal Quest in 2008. We are getting a great variety of people; a lot of medical staff, adventure racing enthusiasts and athletes with a great deal of experience…”
The enormous energy and attention Primal Quest is receiving has caught the global adventure racing community on fire.
