Once again, we’d like to thank the good people in South Dakota and Rapid City – in particular the officials and citizens of the host city of Primal Quest Badlands presented by SPOT.  Attached is a letter from the Mayor of Rapid City, which exemplifies the rapport and relationship PQ develops with our hosts.

Adventure World Magazine and Randy Ericksen have put another web episode from Primal Quest Badlands presented by SPOT online, this time showing race winners Team Orion Health reaching the finish line and claiming victory. All told, the team covered more than 600 miles of brutal backcountry on foot, bike, and kayak, and in the end they were the best team in the Badlands.

We’ve got another web episode from Primal Quest Badlands presented by SPOT this week, courtesy of Adventure World Magazine and Randy Ericksen. In this episode, which is number 7 so far, we get our first glimpse of the Badlands themselves as Team OrionHealth and Salomon/Crested Butte push towards the finish line.

Our friends over at Adventure World Magazine have posted two more videos from Primal Quest Badlands presented by SPOT, adding episodes five and six to their line-up. Like the other videos, these were created by Randy Ericksen, who was on hand to chronicle the race.

Episode Five catches up with the teams in another transition area, where they are preparing to head out on another one of the long and challenging mountain bike legs.

Two more web episodes went online at Adventure World Magazine this week, allowing fans of Primal Quest Badlands presented by SPOT to get more insights on the race and what teams were dealing with in South Dakota this past August.

Episode 3 has us catching up with teams as they get on their mountain bikes for the first time and ride through Butcher Gulch, and though they’re through the cave section, clearly it was still on their minds.

Adventure World Magazine has posted the first two web episodes from Primal Quest Badlands presented by SPOT. The first video begins in the wee hours of the first day of the race, with the teams preparing to take on the South Dakota backcountry as they set out on the first leg of the race, a 26-mile off-road marathon.
