The Irish Echo Newspaper, which bills itself as “the USA’s most widely read Irish American newspaper” has printed a profile of Avril Copeland, captain of Team Endurox R4, whio will be leading her team into South Dakota for Primal Quest Badlands presented by SPOT next week.

Avril, who hails from Ireland, is stuyding for her degree in physiotherapy at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. Desipte that rigerous academic schedule however, she still finds time to train for Primal Quest. She shares her thoughts on the demands of expedition length races with the readers of Irish Echo and introduces the other members of her team, which includes Eoin Keith of Ireland, as well as Americans Mark Lattanzi and Peter Spagnoli.
