An air of excitement and nervous energy permeates the Holiday Inn Rushmore Plaza, which can only mean one thing… The racers are up and at ‘em this morning in a mad scramble for coffee, burritos, and any last traces of civilization before loading onto buses and heading to the race kickoff site at Morris Creek.  This is just the start of sleep deprivation for racers, as their non-stop 600 mile race starts in 2 hours and change…
