Bill, a former Marine, retired college professor, amateur radio operator and Nationally Registered Wilderness EMT, has been involved with Adventure Racing since 1999. In 2000 he joined the Odyssey Adventure Racing staff and since then has performed a wide variety of duties, including: Assistant Race Director, Race Medic, course designer, race management, logistics, communications, and checkpoint manager. His pursuits of world travel, long distance motorcycling, ocean sailing and sailplane piloting lend themselves well to all aspects of adventure racing.
