Corey Rosen - Press Liaison

Corey Rosen has been a true fan of the sport of Adventure Racing for almost ten years.  After watching a few Eco-Challenge races on television, he volunteered hoping to be a part of this huge up and coming sport.  His first race working as a volunteer was the Eco-Challenge New Zealand in 2001.  Once Corey returned from that trip, he was hooked on the sport for good.  The next year, he volunteered to work on the Primal Quest Telluride as well as post live articles from the race on the internet.  In 2003, Corey returned to the Primal Quest in Lake Tahoe to work for CBS and Winnercom on the television production.

After three years and three major races, Corey started his own Adventure Racing service company contracting himself to race organizations as the Official Race Photographer.  He has worked for United States based Adventure Racing Organizations such as Odyssey Adventure Racing (Beast of the East, Endorphin Fix), Adventurous Concepts (Florida Coast to Coast), and Infiterra Sports (Michigan Coast to Coast, Michigan Expedition).  Corey has also worked for International Adventure Racing Organizations such as Euforia Expeditions (Between Two Continents, Costa Rica), Amazon Racing (Jungle Marathon, Brazil), A.C.E. Races (Wilderness ARC, Adventure Racing World Championships, Scotland), and Croatia Adventure Racing (Terra Incognita, Zagreb Urban Assault, Croatia).

When Corey had shown serious dedication to the sport of Adventure Racing, Rob Howard, the owner of the top adventure race reporting site, SleepMonsters, offered him to run the United States SleepMonsters site.  SleepMonsters is a network of the most trafficked Adventure Racing websites in the world.  For three years, Corey became even more active in the sport by going to many local United States events over 24 hours and going to conventions where members of the sport are seen.  Corey recently started the United States Adventure Racing League, an organization dedicated to bringing this sport to a mainstream audience.
