Renee Humbert – Producer & Unit Production Mananger

Renee is an accomplished media & marketing specialist with more than 16 years experience providing campaign development, management, and production services. She has worked on projects for industry leaders such as The History Channel, The Travel Channel, Discovery Kids, HBO Family, Fox Sports Net, PBS, The Golf Channel and CBS Early Show.

Her sports background has also included producing the on-air promotions for the Wall Mart – FLW Outdoors Fishing Tour, Spring Training baseball coverage for The Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees as well as the 2008 promotional roll out of the limited edition, Maker’s Mark,” Johnny Bench” whiskey.

She is an alumnus of The Ohio State University as well as Florida Gulf Coast University having earned a BS and an MBA degree.

Inspired by her experience at Primal Quest / Utah 2006, she is now a “newbie” tri-athlete and vows to someday complete any run section without hating it. She resides in Florida where the training weather is always warm and the terrain is always flat.

Tim Powell – Supervising Producer

Tim has worked on a multitude of prime time television and film projects as a Director, Writer, Cameraman and Editor including: “Eco Challenge  FIJI Islands”, “Eco Challenge New Zealand”, “Eco Challenge British Columbia” “National Geographic Explorer”,  “National Body Challenge” on  Discovery Health Network, “Combat Missions” on USA Network, “Guinness World Records”- Prime Time, FOX, “Raid Gauloises – Race Across The Himalayas” for  OLN , “World of Wonder” a series for Discovery Channel, and numerous others.

Tim has been nominated for a Prime Time and National Emmy Award for his producing on “Eco Challenge Borneo” and “National Geographic Explorer” .

Brian Catalina – Editor

Brian is the current show runner for Discovery Channel’s prime time series, The Alaska Experiment. Other credits include (13) Episodes of Discovery Health’s “Big Medicine” , (10) Episodes of Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch”, as well as CBS’s, “Survivor”. Further, Brian has worked on the production of many expedition adventure races such as “Eco-Challenge Fiji Islands”, Eco Challenge New Zealand, Eco Challenge: US Armed Forces Championship, Eco Challenge Borneo , Raid Gauloises: Race Across the Himalayas and Raid Gauloises: Race Across Ecuador.

Brian Hanifan – Composer

Bruce brings his television music composition experience to Primal Quest after designing the tracks on a host of other notable programs such as Discovery Channel’s ‘Alaska Experiment”; History Channel’s “Ax Men”; History Channel’s “Ice Road Truckers”; Discovery Channel’s “Dealdliest Catch” and “Eco Challenge Fiji Islands”; “Raid Gauloises; Race Across the Himalayas”, as well as a host of many others.

Mocean Melvin – Narrator

In the short time he has been with William Morris, Mocean has recorded spots for Toyota, Albertsons, Walmart, Shop n’Save, Sprint, Dow, Cellular One, Michican Lottery, Can Am, Washington Mutual, Walmart, Nintendo DS, Subway and Madden NFL07. He is currently the retail voice of Nissan and the narrator for the hugely popular international show “Hollywood Uncensored.”
