Want to see AR box scores in your local paper? Then move to Colorado where papers such as the Summit Daily News have some of the broadest coverage of adventure racing in print. Or, skip the hassles of moving and enjoy writing from the likes of Devon O’Neil online.
Saturday’s edition of the Summit Daily has two articles about Primal Quest 2008. The first story recaps our exciting opening week of registration where, in case you haven’t heard, we sold out in twelve hours. In the second article the reader gets a few more details about Danelle Ballengee’s role in the 2008 edition of PQ.

In this feature we take some time to learn about those racing in PQ 2008.
In addition to his numerous adventure sport championships, the captain of this team placed first in Eco-Challenge Morocco, Borneo, and New Zealand. He also had wins at the Gorge Games Adventure Race, Raid the North Extreme Adventure Race, British Virgin Island Expedition, National 24-hour Adventure Race, and the Xstream Solo Adventure Race Series. Oh yeah, and his teams are four time Primal Quest winners too!
If you haven’t connected the dots yet, we’re talking about Mike Kloser and Team Nike, back again for another round of adventure.

While the exact location of the race must remain a secret until the fall of 2007, several states are currently running neck and neck. If you do not have firm summer vacation plans, you may wish to visit places like (in no particular order of significance other than it is an alphabetical list) Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, or Nevada.
Participants can expect as epic a race as Utah and exposure to totally different environments. They will race for five to ten days over 400 – 600 miles of gnarly terrain. In addition to the classic elements of AR: mountain biking, trekking, and paddling, next year racers will face extraordinary sections of whitewater swimming and mountaineering.
